Dahr Jamail

Dahr Jamail reports from inside Iraq.
”Poisonous gases have been used in Fallujah,” 35-year-old trader from Fallujah Abu Hammad told IPS.
”Doctors in Fallujah are reporting to me that there are patients in the hospital there who were forced out by the Americans,” said Mehdi Abdulla, a 33-year-old ambulance driver at a hospital in Baghdad. ”Some doctors there told me they had a major operation going, but the soldiers took the doctors away and left the patient to die.”
”I watched them roll over wounded people in the street with tanks,” he said. ”This happened so many times.”
Hammad said he had seen elderly women carrying white flags shot by U.S. soldiers. ”Even the wounded people were killed. The Americans made announcements for people to come to one mosque if they wanted to leave Fallujah, and even the people who went there carrying white flags were killed.”

9/11 lies

"This story just does not add up. If steel from those buildings did soften or melt, I’m sure we can all agree that this was certainly not due to jet fuel fires of any kind, let alone the briefly burning fires in those towers...Please do what you can to quickly eliminate the confusion regarding the ability of jet fuel fires to soften or melt structural steel."

"by Kevin Ryan of Underwriters Laboratories to Frank Gayle of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Underwriters Laboratories is the company that certified the steel componets used in the constuction of the World Trade Center towers."

doctors and nurses SNIPED, etc:: www.jihadunspun.net

(from the link on the right sidebar -->)

"In answer to appeals from administrative staff of al-Fallujah General Hospital to help their brothers and sisters in al-Fallujah, 50 doctors and nurses gathered in nearby as-Saqlawiyah and set out Thursday afternoon for the defiant city of al-Fallujah, upon which the US aggressors are inflicting savage death and destruction, occupying their hospital and deploying snipers atop its roof to shoot down anyone who dares approach it.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Fallujah confirmed that the doctors and nurses arrived near the city where they got out of their cars in order to slip into al-Fallujah individually so as to avoid being stopped by the American military.

The volunteers walked to a branch of the Euphrates River, and on crossing it were entering al-Fallujah when US snipers opened fire on them. Seventeen of the doctors and nurses were shot dead as they crossed the river, which is between 150 and 170 meters wide. The survivors continued across and made it to the defiant city, many of them wounded to varying degrees by the American gunfire."

"Humanitarian efforts are poised to begin in Falluja as U.S. and Iraqi forces battle what some officials say are the last remnants of insurgency in the western Iraqi city. Up to 1,000 insurgents have died in the battle for Falluja, an operation described as "almost finished" by Iraqi National Security Adviser Kasim Dawood."

"American occupiers employed loud speakers to request a cease fire in the city to begin negotiations. According to Islam Memo's correspondent, heavy US losses are the main reason behind the American request."

Interim Prime Minister Iyad Allawi said there had been "a clear-cut victory over the insurgents and the terrorists".
More than 1,000 rebels have been killed and about 200 captured, National Security Minister Kasim Daoud said.

"US forces that remain inside Fallujah are now surrounded. The American were forced to move troops out of the city as the conflict widened and is now raging throughout the Sunni triangle and in the capital city.
The Mafkarat al-Islam’s correspondent in Fallujah also wrote that media reports about a major American breakthrough in Fallujah and that the Americans control 90 percent of the city are false. The US penetration into the city has been the result of Mujahideen efforts to draw the enemy in. The effect has been that heavy losses have been inflicted on the Americans.

As to claims by some Arab media that US forces are now stationed inside the city, the correspondent noted that the only American contingent is located inside the city has been encircled by Mujahideen forces since before yesterday. It is able to remain there without being destroyed by virtue of the covering fire provided by American snipers posted on buildings in the area. The American unit has until the time of writing been unable to extract itself from its besieged position.

US forces are trying to break the encirclement of an American column on al-Hadrah al-Muhammadiyah street in the neighborhoods of ash-Shurtah and ad-Dubbat. But the American column is well encircled on all sides. On Thursday, the Mujahideen encircled and destroyed a whole American column in the al-Jaghifi neighborhood."

"Large US Supply Depot In Al-Jawlan Neighborhood Hit

Also on Thursday evening, Iraqi Mujahideen bombed an ice factory in the center of the al-Jawlan neighborhood where US occupation forces invaders had parked vehicles and stored equipment. The factorys had a floor space of nearly 5,000 square meters and inside Humvees for carrying equipment. Large numbers of tanks and armored vehicles surrounded the factory.

Mujahideen suspected the Americans would use the factory as a storage depot or headquarters and therefore they mined the building prior to the US assault. Thursday night Mujahideen forces bombarded the bobby-trapped factory with mortars, setting off a thunderous explosion followed by massive secondary blasts that were still continuing at the time of this filing. The explosions were so massive that fireballs could be seen five kilometers away.

Meanwhile, Mujahideen forces in the al-Jaghifi neighborhood wiped out a US column. The Mujahideen first allowed the US troops to enter the neighborhood and then struck in a coordinated attack. "

and china makes oil deal with iran

what if china and america's foreign trade (wal-mart, tennis shoes, toys, etc) was a maneuver BY china. well actually, i'm sure the u.s. was intending it as a way to rot out the communist state with the "free market". what if, suddenly, china stops all trade with the u.s.? could china destroy our economy?
